How does the Smart Generation® return or replacement service work?

For every purchase made on our platform, we offer the possibility of return or exchange the product within 14 days from the date of receipt. This period allows you to make sure that the item you have received corresponds exactly to your expectation by testing all its functionalities.

In case you decide to return an item due to a discrepancy in the description or in case of functional defects, we will take care of everything. We will organise return shipment via one of our couriers who will collect the item directly from your home and send it back to our warehouse.

Refund or, if you prefer, replacement will be processed within 3 days working days after receipt of the product in our warehouse, so that we can return the correct product to you or credit the funds to your account as quickly as possible.

If, however, you wish to return or exchange the product due to an error on your purchase, an afterthought or for any other reason not due to our error or negligence, you will be responsible for arranging the return shipment, using appropriate packaging to protect the product. Please note that the refund (which may take longer to process, within the statutory time limits) will be reduced by the stranded costs we incurred (outward shipping, credit card fees, PayPal, deferred payment fees, packaging costs and shipping insurance).

Our advertisements are always very clear and contain all the information you need to make an informed purchase. We therefore advise you to check all details carefully before proceeding with your order.

Note: part of the actual shipping costs are included in the price of the device. In the case of withdrawal due to our error, the full amount spent will be refunded, but in the case of return due to second thoughts, the cost of outward shipping will not be refunded.

Please remember that it is important that our anti-tear guarantee seal remains intact, and is not damaged or removed in the event of a return. For further information, please consult our warranty conditions.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from the contract, without stating reasons, within 14 days. The withdrawal period expires after 14 days from the day on which you or a third party other than the carrier and designated by you acquires physical possession of the last good.

You may use the standard withdrawal form for this purpose, but it is not obligatory. In order to comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient for you to send the communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the end of the withdrawal period.
 

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse you for all payments you have made to us, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of any additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw from this contract.

Such refunds will be made using the same means of payment that you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any costs as a consequence of such a refund. Refunds may be suspended until we receive the goods back or until you prove that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

You are kindly requested to return the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event within 14 days from the day on which you informed us of your withdrawal from this contract.

The costs of returning the goods will be borne by you, as well as commissions and non-recoverable costs, only in the case of a return due to reconsideration.

You are only liable for the diminution in value of the goods resulting from handling the goods other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
